Riverhead Athletics (Middle and High School)

Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball (ages 4-12)
For over 70 years the Riverhead Little League has been a staple of the community. Bringing the sport to the children and offering a place to foster a love for the game.
The league is headquartered at Stotzky Park, which has two baseball fields, three softball fields, and a t-ball field. As well as four additional fields at Epcal in Calverton.
The league offers a Spring and Fall season, as well as a summer sandlot.
PAL Organized Sports (ages 5-13)
Riverhead’s Police Athletic League (PAL) is a non-profit organization that provides organized sports programs throughout Suffolk County for children 5-13 years of age. It was created with the intent of giving children healthy social and behavioral skills that would reduce their susceptibility to gang involvement, alcohol and drug use and delinquency.
Offering Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Soccer, Cheerleading, Flag Football and Football.

MISSION STATEMENT It shall be the purpose of this Association to formulate, adopt and implement policies that will enable the Association to administer and govern interscholastic athletics in Suffolk County in accordance with the New York State Education Department and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES • Provide and promote safe and equitable athletic participation • Encourage participation in athletic programs • Promote sportsmanlike conduct • Maintain the standards of eligibility of the NYSPHSAA and State Education Department • Provide the means to settle disputed athletic contests amicably and authoritatively • Conduct athletic tournaments and contests • Work with the NYSPHSAA and State Education Department in fostering educationally sound athletic programs • Adapt rules to cover sports contests and to support the rule changes creating safer environments for all student-athletes • Coordinate and work with officials’ organizations
